DEAN TAIPANA: Director & Senior Physiotherapist
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (2006), APAM
Dean graduated from the University of Otago (New Zealand) with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2006, and has been working as a Senior Physiotherapist in Sydney’s Northern Beaches for almost a decade. Over this time, Dean has devoted a substantial amount of time to not only helping his clients return to their pre-injury function, but also in ensuring prevention strategies are instilled in their rehabilitation progression. As a result, Dean has seen exceedingly low rates of re-injury in his clients. As well as a vast amount of experience dealing with the acute and chronic phases of general and work injuries, Dean has a wealth of experience assessing and rehabilitating sports injuries. Dean is a certified Sports Medic and has provided Physiotherapy for numerous local sporting organisations and teams including Manly United FC, Brookvale FC (Premier Mens and Womens teams), Narrabeen FC, Beacon Hill FC, Manly Warringah Touch Association.
Anthony Demasi: Physiotherapist
Anthony graduated with a Bachelor Degree in applied Sciences (human movement) and continued his studies, completing a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree at MacQuarie University.
Anthony has had a life long love for sports and that directed him straight into sports physiotheray. An avid sportsman himself, reaching state and national levels in sports like soccer, basketball and athletics demostrates his drive for success.
He has been working as a physiotherpaist and sports trainer for football NSW’s institute program, which has taken him to south korea for an international tournmant and is also currently working for Sydney FC as the head physiotherapist for their youth acadamy.
His focus is returning people back to the things they like to do. Wether that is day to day life or as an elite sports person, Anthony uses a variety of up to date techniques to provide you the best treatment possible.
