Functional movements are the actions we are required to perform in everyday life – such as squatting, pushing, pulling, and lifting. To function pain free, and reduce the risk of injury at home, work, and on the sports field – it is imperative that our bodies are built to cope with the demands of these tasks.
Functional rehabilitation programs are specifically designed to train your entire body for the activities it has to perform every day (or on the sports field). Our therapists will devise a program that is individualised and will train your joints and muscles to work together in unison to be stronger and more efficient every day.
We have access to a fully equipped gym for our functional rehabilitation programs, or we can devise an ‘at home program’ if that suits you more.
